NBA Jock MKT Pick’Em – March 5th – New York Knicks at Boston Celtics

Jaylen Brown Under 10.5 Rebounds +Assists

There is no doubt the Celtics missed Jaylen Brown on the offensive end during his injury. He went off for 35 points last night, securing 3 steals and knowing down 3 3-pointers against the Nets. Just two days off an injury, Brown logged 43 minutes, tying his career high in minutes played in a game. While Brown’s impact on the defense end cannot be denied and he is an all-star scorer, he has failed to record 10 rebounds and assists since the Celtics’ overtime victory against the Pacers back on February 23rd.

Go with the under 10.5 Reb+Assists combo for Jaylen Brown tonight.

Julius Randle Over 31 Points + Assists

Coming off a 43-point night where Randle grabbed 9 boards, shot an incredible 8-13 from beyond the arc along with 3 assists, expect Knicks power forward to continue to dominate on the road against the Celtics tonight.

With the NBA’s Eastern Conference player of the month Jalen Brunson officially listed as out on the injury report tonight, Randle will fill the role commanding the offense and he will be required to dish out assists when the defense focuses on him and comes at him with double teams all night.

Over his last two games, Randle is 12-21 from deep with 11 assists and 64 points.

RJ Barrett Over 1.5 3-Pointers

Knicks guard RJ Barrett has been somewhat cold from deep lately, but the former Duke guard thrives against the Celtics, particular on the road at TD Garden. Over the three games the Knicks faced the Celtics on the road this season, R.J. Barrett has scored a total of 59 points. Over his career, Barrett is averaging 18.7 ppg versus Boston, shooting at 46% from deep.

Hammer this low 1.5 3-point line for RJ Barrett in a game where he will be pivotal to the Knicks offense in Jalen Brunson’s absence.
