NBA Jock MKT Pick ‘Em – March 7th – Philadelphia 76ers at Minnesota Timberwolves

Anthony Edwards Over 26 Points

With Karl Anthony Towns still sidelined and with D’Angelo Russel traded, Anthony Edwards has taken an even bigger leap into being the face of the Timberwolves franchise as well as the number one scoring option.

The Timberwolves made an impact move when they traded for veteran Mike Conley, who can facilitate and quarterback the Timberwolves offense in order to get Anthony Edwards more space on the floor to score points.

Edwards shoots at extremely high volumes from both beyond the arc and around the paint. He made 20, 16, 18, 19, and 26 field goal attempts in his last 5 games, shooting as many as 8 3-point attempts in that run.

Against a lackluster Philadelphia defense outside of Joel Embiid, Edwards is in a great position tonight to crush this over 26 point line as the Timberwolves will be relying on him as the main scoring option.

Go with the over 26 point line tonight on Pick ‘Em.

Rudy Gobert Over 13.5 Points

The huge offseason trade the Timberwolves made to acquire Rudy Gobert isn’t exactly panning out as they had hoped. However, Rudy Gobert is still a double-double machine. The starting center has 13, 22, 16, 17, 17, and 21 point in his last 6 games and has logged between 27-35 minutes in each of those contests.

With that much time on the floor and with Gobert shooting double digit field goal attempts on a nightly basis, all of which are around the rim, the 13.5 line seems relatively low tonight against the 76ers.

New addition Mike Conley is great in the pick and roll offense with Gobert and will be able to set him up for a ton of opportunity for buckets around the basket. This 13.5 line is one of our favorites tonight and we are gearing up to hammer this point line tonight.

Go with Rudy Robert and the over.
