NBA Jock MKT Pick ‘Em – March 16th – Sacramento Kings at Brooklyn Nets

Mikal Bridges Over 25.5 Points

Mikal Bridges has seamlessly transitioned into playing with the Brooklyn Nets since the Kevin Durant trade. Bridges is the Nets number one scoring option and he has lived up to his responsibility as the new face of the franchise.

Bridges has gone over the 25+ point mark in six of his last seven games, eclipsing the 30-point mark four times in that stretch. He even went for 38 in a huge comeback win against the Boston Celtics at the start of his current scoring run.

With Spencer Dinwwiddie back in a Nets uniform, he is commanding the Nets offense and notching double digit assists, many of which are to the benefit of Bridges’ points; Bridges sole responsibility on the offensive end is to get points. He is shooting upwards of 20+ field goals per game and even attempts up to 10 3-pointers per game while on the floor.

With the high volume shooting and the current scoring run he is on, the over 25.5 point mark looks to be a lock tonight. We’re going with the over on Bridges points tonight at home against the Sacramento Kings.

Kevin Huerter Over 2.5 3-Pointers

Since his trade from the Atlanta Hawks, Kevin Huerter has found himself as a rising star for the Sacramento Kings and logging big minutes in his starting role as the team shooting guard. He is involved in all facets of the game, but his most important role is being a sharpshooter.

Over 60% of Huerter’s field goal attempts are from beyond the arc. In six of his last eight games, Huerter has surpassed the 2.5 3-point mark and even went 8-11 from deep against the Bucks this week. He is quick and able to get spacing around the floor and the Kings run plays specifically for Huerter to shoot from deep.

In what will be a high scoring match in a game the Sacramento Kings outmatch the talent of the current Brooklyn Nets squad, I expect a high scoring matchup where Huerter continues his high volume shot making and hammers the over 2.5 3-Point mark.

Take Huerter and the over tonight against the Kings.
