Jock MKT NFL Super Bowl Pick’em – Quarterbacks

Hey everyone it’s Andrew from Jock MKT back to give you my Super Bowl picks for our Pick ‘Em contest this Sunday. We swept our AFC championship picks and are feeling confident about our QB props for Super Sunday. Join me in the Pick ‘Em challenge and let’s crush again.

Mahomes Over 291 Pass Yards and Over 38.5 Pass Attempts

There are some questions around Patrick Mahomes health with his ankle injury, but with the extra week off from the AFC Championship game, we should have all the confidence in the world that Mahomes is going to put on a show on the world’s biggest stage.

Despite the 291 Pass Yards being a hefty number for Mahomes to hit against a stingy Eagles defense that ranks number one against the pass, expect Mahomes to pad the stat sheet on Super Sunday.

Mahomes has only run for 10+ yards twice in his last 8 games, while throwing for 290+ in seven of his last ten games. With weapons all over the field, you can expect Mahomes to find an open receiver to methodically push down the field without having to run for extra yardage. His lack of running attempts and receiving targets all over the field should put in a good spot to lean on the over 291 yards in this one.

Mahomes attempted 43 throws in the AFC championship game and in each game that he has attempted over 40 times, he has crushed the 300-yard mark, so these two Pick ‘Em props that go hand in hand – hammer the over on both these Pick ‘Em options.

Hurts U 242 Pass Yards and Under 32 Pass Attempts

Jalen Hurts is in the conversation to be the league MVP, but that doesn’t mean we shuld go all in on the overs in every one of his prop picks. Jalen Hurts hasn’t thrown for close to 200 yards in either game he has played in the playoffs yet this year.

The Eagles play in a two running back system and command the clock due to their run game. Managing the clock works against Hurts passing props as long as the Eagles continue to be able to get first downs in the running game.

Don’t expect their gameplan to change when it’s worked to near perfection all season. Hurts has the ability to make a big play action pass when the Chiefs defense loads the box expecting a run, but he also only has 24 and 25 pass attempts in each of his two playoff games; hitting the 242 passing number isn’t going to be easy when Hurts isn’t throwing for 30+ attempts during this Playoff run.

In each game of the last 5 games dating back to the regular season when Hurts has thown for less than 30 times and his passing yards have also gone under 300 yards. This makes it a good bet to go with the under on each of these Pick ‘Em props on Jock MKT.
