Jock MKT NBA Daily Picks – February 6

Whats up ya’ll, its Andrew from Jock MKT here with your NBA picks for Monday, February 6th. We’ve been crushing NFL with our Pick ‘Em game and are looking to continue that success with our NBA research tonight.

Sam Hauser O 2.5 Rebounds

Celtics power forward Luke Kornet was a late day scratch for tonight’s game at the Pistons. With Jaylen Brown officially added to the injury report early Monday morning, Boston is going to need their bench players to step up. As they are 11-point favorites against the Pistons, expect both Sam Hauser and former Piston, Blake Griffin, to take advantage of extra minutes on both the offense and defense side of the glass.  Hauser seems like a lock with the over 2.5 rebounds.

K. Porzingis O 1.5 Blocks

Since the Lakers acquired rising star forward Rui Hachimura from the Washington Wizards, Porzingis has been on an absolute defensive tear, owning the paint in Hachimura’s absence. In the 6 games since the trade, Porzingis has secured 13 blocks. Over the entire month of January, Porzingis had only recorded one block prior to this streak. Expect Porzingis to use his length tonight on both the boards and defensively with blocks in the paint.

P. Pritchard O 1 3 PT Made

Pritchard’s playing time has fluctuated greatly as of late, but when he gets his minutes, he shoots the long ball in high volume. In his last 10 contests, Pritchard has knocked down more 3-point attempts than 2 pointers. With Brown, Smart, Kornet and Gallinari out, expect the minutes for Pritchard to increase, as will his 3-point attempts. We have to ride with the over on this line and take Pritchard to hit from the arc tonight.

Evan Mobley O 1.5 blocks

It has been 7 straight contests and since January 21st against the Milwaukee Bucks that Mobley has not recorded at least 2 blocks in each game. Coming off 10 blocks in his last four contests, expect Mobley to continue his dominance on the defensive end against a depleted front court, which is almost completely reliant on Porzingis. It’s safe to say that the over 1.5 blocks is the play tonight with Evan Mobley so let’s hammer it.
