Rudy Gobert Over 0.5 Double Double

While there isn’t much to be excited about from the Timberwolves in this series, Rudy Gobert getting a double-double is one of the lone bright spots when wagering on Minnesota. While Gobert isn’t going to meaningfully affect the game in any way, he can put up a double-double with ease.

In 7 of the Timberwolves last 10 games, Gobert has recorded a double-double. He is averaging 13.4 PPG and 11.6 rebounds per game this season and his rebound average has increased to 12.2 over the last 10 games. He just missed a double-double in Game 1 by 2 points and played 26 minutes. All of Gobert’s points come around the basket and even when he only puts up 5 field goal attempts, he has scored 10+ points throughout the season.

I expect Gobert to quietly record double digits on both the points and rebounds line tonight even if this becomes a blowout win by Denver. Gobert Over 0.5 Double-Double tonight, let’s cash.

Mike Conley Under 2 3-Pointers

This series is a complete mismatch between the number 1 and 8 seeds in the Western Conference. While the Wolves’ point guard has been averaging 31 minutes per game over the Wolves’ last 10 games, Conley is only putting up 16 points during this run and is only averaging 13.5 points vs. Denver.

Conley has only eclipsed the 2 3-point mark 3 times in the Timberwolves last 10 games, and he only attempted double digit field goals twice in that span. Given the minutes he is playing, the veteran point guard surprisingly isn’t putting up impressive numbers on the stat sheet. Conley went 2-3 from deep in Game 1 at Denver and despite shooting 66% from 3, he isn’t shooting from deep all that often. Conley attempted 3 and 4 3-point attempts in his last 2 games respectively and even went 1-6 from 3 against the Pelicans in the play in game.

All signs are pointing to another blowout win by the Nuggets tonight as they are clearly the better team. If the game gets out of reach in the second half, the Wolves may rest all their starters for the remainder of the game, which would give Conley less minutes on the floor and opportunity to get field goal attempts in.

We’re hammering the under 2 3-point line tonight on Conley.
