Trae Young Under 2 3-Pointers Made

While Trae Young is shooting 33% from 3 this season against the Celtics and 30% overall on the season, the Hawks star hasn’t eclipsed the 2 3-pointer mark since March 28th. Young has only hit more than 2 3-pointers once in his last 8 games and went 1-5 in Game 1 at Boston on Saturday.

While Young is still the focal point of the Hawks offense, his role has become less scoring dominant and has pivoted towards getting his teammates involved allowing him to average 11 assists on the season. He is also shooting the ball less frequently since since Dejounte Murray arrived in Atlanta and Young is only attempting between 5 and 6 3-pointers per game.

I expect the Celtics to dominate the Hawks again tonight and make it difficult for Young to make an impact from beyond the arc. Factor in that Young is attempting the majority of his field goals from inside the paint, the under 2 3-pointer line is a safe bet tonight and one that we are going to ride.

Young and the under 2-3 pointers tonight. Let’s cash it.

Clint Capela Over 11 Asts + Rebs

Clint Capela is capable of eclipsing this line any given night just with rebounds. The Hawks center outsizes the Celtics front court with his wingspan and despite pulling down just 8 rebounds in Game 1, I expect him to bounce back tonight and have more of an impact on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court.

Capela hit the 11 mark for assists and rebounds in 5 of the Hawks last 8 games. He pulled down 21 rebounds against the Heat in just 28 minutes and is averaging just over 10 rebounds per game on the season. He is typically good for 1 assist per game, which will help us hit this over tonight. We will be weighing heavily on his rebound production, but with the Hawks center averaging 28 minutes per game, there will be plenty of opportunity for him to cash this play for us.

Capela and the over tonight. Hammer it.
