Blake Snell Over 6.5 Strikeouts

Snell took the loss as the opening day starter for the Padres, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over 4.1 innings. He struck out nine. Nine! What’s more impressive than boasting a strikeout rate of over 2 per inning pitched is that Snell got a whopping 20 missed swings over just 4.1 innings.

For tonight’s game, the over/under on Snell’s strikeouts is set at 6.5. This line is very low for the former Cy Young winner who averaged nearly 8 per game last season.   Moreover, Snell is facing a Braves team that has struggled to make contact with the ball against lefties this season. Snell is set up to rack up the K’s in Atlanta tonight and smash the 6.5 over just like he did in his first start.

This should be an easy line to crush the over tonight.

Juan Soto Over 1 Total Base

This is an surprisingly low line for one of the best players in the MLB. He was off to a slow start but after going 0-for-7 over the first two games this season, Soto has been on a tear lately. After securing the victory for his team with a two-out, two-run single in the eighth inning on Saturday, he hit his first home run of the season on Monday in a multi-hit game against Arizona.

The superstar is returning to superstar form, recording seven total bases in his last two games alone. Take the over for Juan Soto’s total bases tonight because this line is certain to move higher as the season progresses.

Our money is on Juan Soto to reach over 1 total bases tonight

Orlando Arcia Over 0.5 hits

After signing a three-year, $7.3 million contract on March 30th, Orlando Arcia has done nothing but produce for the Braves at the plate. While initially brought in for his reliable defense and versatility in the infield, Arcia has quickly become a major weapon for the Braves on the offensive side of the game. In the six games played since signing his extension, he has recorded a hit in five of them, including his first homer of the season on Tuesday.

Arcia’s .304 batting average (7-23) this season is certainly impressive, but what really sets him apart is his consistency and reliability at the plate. In fact, he has only failed to get a hit in one game this entire season, making him a reliable option tonight against the Padres tonight. Making this pick more appealing is the fact that Arcia thrives against lefties, so he is primed to take advantage of facing the left-handed Snell tonight.

Hammer the over 0.5 hits tonight for Orlando Arica.
