Chris Paul Over 9.5 Assists

While this may look like a high assist line to most at first glance, Chris Paul is crushing the 9.5 assist number in the Phoenix Suns run since the All-Star Break. In four of the Suns last six games, Paul has recorded 10+ assists, dishing out as many as 16 assists vs the rising Sacramento Kings last week.

With Kevin Durant sidelined, Paul has taken on an ever more increasing role in getting his teammates opportunities around the floor.  Deandre Ayton has seen his point totals go up without Durant, many of those points coming off Chris Paul assists. Add in that Devin Booker’s primary role is to score and in order to find himself open to take advantage of his lethal mid-range game or from beyond the arc, it is Chris Paul who is getting him open.

Paul is logging roughly 30 minutes per game and with him bringing up the ball on every Suns possession, this 9.5 line is a number he could get close to just in the first half. Coming off a back to back where the Suns played the Warriors last night, Paul was able to rest for the majority of the 4th quarter when Phoenix packed it in early; I expect Paul to be fresh tonight on his home court.

Hammer the over 9.5 assist line against the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 44.5 Points + Rebounds

Before last night, Giannis had been sidelined for the last three games and then came back against the Kings like no time had passed. In 34 minutes, the Greek Freak scored a whopping 46 points on 19-28 shooting and went 2-2 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed 12 rebounds.

In two of his three games before injury, Giannis total points and rebounds number was 48 and 47  respectively. While both teams are coming off back to backs, Giannis is going against a middle of the pack Suns defense where there is no one on the other side of the ball that can defend him. Giannis is too quick and athletic for Ayton and is playing against a backup in Josh Okogie while Kevin Durant is out.

He is going to have opportunity on both ends of the floor to rebound and will be able to score at will. I’m expecting another 30+ point game from Giannis and see him crushing this 44.5 Points + Rebound line with ease while the Bucks take this game from the Suns.

Heavy Giannis and the over line here tonight.
